Marcus Admissions offers customizable college counseling tailored to the specific needs of each student. College admission to a student’s college of choice is one of the core concerns of every family and we do everything possible to help the dream college become a reality.  Families can determine what works best for their student, whether it is a one-hour consultation or comprehensive support throughout high school. Your child will only work with ONE college counselor from the first meeting to the day they graduate. 

We have over two decades of experience working in high schools and do not see this process as purely marketing or industry.   As trained counselors, we know the social-emotional needs of young adults and maintain a student-centered model working alongside the student whenever they need us.  We focus on the desired outcome for each student while accounting for the differences of each student.  By building a relationship with each student, we can align their strengths and visions to support their best college learning environments instead of having them lured to colleges because of prestige or party school rankings. We tailor a college admissions plan that will yield the best college match for each student’s unique needs.  We are attuned to pedagogical issues regarding adolescent development and put the emotional needs of the student and their mental well- being first.

We are a boutique-style consultancy, so students will have one college counselor throughout their college search and application process. We will accommodate the busy schedules of student-athletes, performing arts students, community service leaders, and the overloaded academic teenager.  Meetings can take place in person or virtually seven days a week.
